A small footprint

There is nothing more satisfying for us than enjoying a hearty bowl of ramen in one of our very own bowls. Scraping up the last drops of that miso infused broth we always try to remember that everything we make draws resources from the planet we live on. The clay that forms the bowl is pulled from the earth, the food in the bow draws nutrients from the soil, and the wood for the spoon is harvested from the trees that help us to breath. This is why at Hungry Bakers we aim to have as small a footprint as we can on the earth that sustains us.

To this end we place sustainability at the very heart of what we do.

What does this mean in practice?

  • We aim to make durable, classically designed products that will last a lifetime.

  • We encourage you to only buy what you need (The most sustainable product is the one you already own).

  • We aim to use the most sustainable materials we can find.

  • Our packaging materials are plastic free and recyclable.

  • Broken a piece that made up a set? We will make a replacement for you, even if on a discontinued range. You will never have to replace the whole set.
